Gold City Medical Centre provides Urgent medical care when the surgery is closed. However if you have chest pain you should always ring 000 and go by ambulance to the hospital.

The doctor will talk to you about your problem and decide if you can be managed with telephone advice or you need to be seen by the doctor. The doctor will usually see you at Gold City Medical Centre. On occasions, the doctor may ask you to go to the hospital if your problem is severe enough to require admission to hospital. In some situations you will need to call the ambulance on 000.
Telephone consultations attract a consultation fee which is payable on the next working business day. You will receive a Medicare rebate for your telephone consultation.
