Medicare rebate is available immediately after paying your account
Gold City Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice. The majority of our fees are private and Medicare rebates part of your fee. At the doctors discretion some services at Gold City Medical Centre may be fully funded through Medicare (bulk billed). We try to make medical care affordable to pensioners by bulk billing many of your consultations. Minor procedures and treatment room services are not bulk billed. We are always happy to provide an estimate of your costs before seeing the doctor or having a specific procedure done. Some of our standard fees and the Medicare rebates are set out below. We are happy to deal with multiple problems at the one consultation, however, if a number of problems need to be dealt with a long consultation may be required.

MINOR PROCEDURES are not bulk billed. A $50 procedure room fee is payable on the day. Payment for excision is due when you get your sutures out or upon receipt of an invoice.

CTG Patients with a Pension Concession Card or Health Care Card Minor Procedures will be bulk billed. Private concession rates apply otherwise.

HEALTH ASSESSMENTS are bulk billed.

CHILDHOOD IMMUNISATIONS are BULK BILLED
- CARE PLANS for Private patients cost $200 (Medicare rebate $156.55) or Dr Amin/Dr Sarowat $170 (Medicare rebate $125.30). All Concession patients will be covered by Medicare (bulk billed).
- DRESSING cost are payment on the day. A $25 procedure room fee is payable with your dressing and consultation fee. Consultations cannot be bulk billed when there is a dressing/procedure room fee.
- OTHER FEES available on request.
